  • Torque & Drag Modeling
    Every run is modeled in-house using actual BHA geometry and mechanical specs to define safe operating envelopes for torque, differential pressure, and WOB.

    Hydraulics Validation
    Flow regimes are simulated using real mud properties from the operator. Expected ΔP, ECD, and motor performance curves are verified before anything leaves the shop.

    Design Review
    Every BHA receives a multi-discipline review to confirm bend settings, stabilizer placement, bit strategy, and reamer configuration.

    Risk Register
    Mechanical and geological risks are identified, quantified, and assigned mitigation steps. Nothing goes unaddressed before spud.

  • Tool Verification
    Motors and MWD systems are fully pressure-tested, function-tested, and electronically logged for traceability.

    Calibration Review
    Directional sensors and gamma modules are rechecked for magnetic accuracy, temperature stability, and signal clarity.

    QC Ownership
    Certification requires two independent approvals by shop QC and Bird Dog operations. Nothing moves without both.

    Shipment Documentation
    Serial numbers, calibration reports, and modeled operating envelopes are included in a pre-spud data package for the operator.

    Motors and MWD systems are broken down within 24 hours to identify wear patterns, heat signatures, swelling, erosion, or mechanical stress.

    Wear Pattern Documentation
    Bearings, elastomers, and drive components are compared to modeled expectations and real-world torque/ΔP logs.

    Run-Life Analysis
    Components are classified by mechanical, operational, or environmental failures for traceability.

    Closed-Loop Feedback
    All findings feed directly into Bird Dog’s reliability database and are applied to the next well plan.

  • Run Summaries
    Every job receives a full mechanical and operational summary: ROP, torque/pressure history, survey integrity, and downtime events with lessons learned.

    Trend Analysis
    Bird Dog benchmarks torque spikes, stalls, motor load, pulse behavior, and parameter compliance across wells to identify improvement opportunities.

    Operator Access
    Optional post-well reporting includes visualized traces and trend summaries.
